NYC is one of the biggest and most popular cities in the world! There is so much to do here that it’s guaranteed you will never become bored! There are from 5-star restaurants to World Famous circuses along with your favorite Broadway shows!
Bronx Zoo. Bronx Zoo is the most popular zoo in NYC. It’s located at 2300 Southern Blvd. Bronx NY. You could tour the African Rain Forest or see more than 20 real-life gorillas! It’s also really easy to get around the place! You can catch a zoo shuttle bus which can lead you from 1 exhibit to the other. There is also a Skyfari Gondola which transports you from Aisa to the Children’s Zoo in no time. It’s also a very fun experience no matter how many times you go.
NYC is packed with movie theatres and Broadway shows. Did you know a majority of movies and TV shows are cast and filmed here in the city? Some of them include Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, Home Alone 2, Ghostbusters, and even Sesame Street! Fun fact: New York’s Broadway shows draw nearly 15 million audience members each year! Broadway Shows and Musicals have become one of the biggest attractions in the city! You can go see musicals like “Wicked”, “Chicago”, “The Lion King” “Hamilton”, “Les Miserables” and many other exciting shows!
Big Apple Circus. The Big Apple Circus is a must-see in NYC. It is a very exotic circus with tricks you probably have never seen! They use animals on stage too. They use goats, llamas, dogs, rabbits, and even porcupines! The circus also has a spectacular view no matter where you sit. The circus is located in a nice area and it’s best if you go see it in the nighttime around 6–7 pm. When I went there I really enjoyed the tricks. They were performed very smoothly and it was really enjoyable to see people drop and do crazy stunts!
I highly recommend visiting the Freedom Tower/World Trade Center if you’re ever in New York City. This incredible structure was built in replacement of the Twin Towers which fell in a tragic plane crash. Not only does it offer a stunning view of the entire city, but it also features several observatories where you can learn more about the history and construction of this impressive building. Plus, they even provide you with your own iPad to enhance your experience! It’s truly a must-see attraction for anyone visiting the city.
Central Park. Central Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the world, and it’s a perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. Whether you’re looking to have a picnic, play in the grass, or just take a stroll through the area, Central Park has something for everyone so they can have a great time.
Brooklyn Bridge. Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City. It is a 1.1-mile long bridge applicable to either walk or drive. Along the way, you will find many merchants giving out small trinkets. I suggest getting the small fridge magnets and postcards. You can keep those as a small memory of your time on the Brooklyn Bridge.
The M&M Store. The M&M store is a fun and exciting store to visit. It was by far my favorite place to visit! It is located at 1600 Broadway. It’s also a great place to visit by yourself or with your family. It has different flavors of M&M’s probably which you have never even heard of! For example, I never knew there was a flavor called Fudge Brownie which consisted of a hot fudge-dipped brownie filled inside of an M&M. There are also some fun knick-knacks that you can get to add to your experience such as M&M dispensers or just small highlighters and pillows. Overall this is an awesome place to visit!
Times Square. Times Square is easily one of the busiest places in NYC. It is a large area where people like to do their shopping. There are stores such as Sephora, H&M, GAP, Luis Viton, The Disney Store, Macy’s, and more. Times Square is also where the New Year’s Ball Drop occurs. This event gathers thousands of people. If you want to capture the beauty of the place in pictures, I suggest going at night. The lighting is perfect and you’ll be able to see all the stunning details that you might miss during the day.
New York City is truly a remarkable place to visit. It has so much to offer, from incredible food and entertainment to breathtaking views and historical landmarks. There’s always something new to discover, and it’s impossible to get bored. In conclusion, here were 8 fun places to visit in NYC!
